The Monet Footstool is a timeless Danish design, handcrafted from natural Indonesian rattan using traditional wicker-making techniques. Designed as the perfect companion to the Monet Lounge Chair, it adds an extra layer of comfort while being beautiful enough to stand on its own.
We love the detailed rattan windings and softly curved form, which give the piece a relaxed, handcrafted character. Each stool is made by skilled artisans using carefully selected rattan, a remarkably strong natural material prized for its durability, warmth and beautiful variation.
Unlike hollow bamboo, rattan is solid throughout, allowing it to be steamed and shaped by hand while creating furniture that is exceptionally strong and made to last for generations.
A fitted cushion is included for added comfort.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Handcrafted from sustainable Indonesian rattan using traditional techniques. Natural variations in colour and texture are part of the character of this artisan-made piece.
Care
Rattan requires very little maintenance. Wipe gently with a lightly dampened cloth as needed.
