Inspired by antique camel-back furniture, John Derian cleverly reversed the traditional profile, replacing the familiar central crest with a gentle dip framed by elegant sweeping curves. The result is a design that feels remarkably fresh despite its historical inspiration.

Craftsmanship
Handcrafted in the USA by Cisco Home in collaboration with John Derian, the Dromedary features a tight seat and back for a beautifully tailored appearance, supported by traditional eight-way hand-tied coil spring construction for exceptional comfort and longevity.
Solid maple legs finished in warm fruitwood are completed with antique brass castors on the front legs—a refined historical detail that perfectly complements the design.
