The Belladonna sofa is a refined outdoor design by Italian architect and designer Franco Albini (1905–1977). Executed in Alu-Rattan and ArtFibre, the piece combines visual lightness with exceptional durability. The powder-coated aluminum frame is fully weatherproof, while the ArtFibre—an artificial polyethylene fiber—resists UV exposure and requires no maintenance.
Designed for outdoor living in all seasons, the sofa is fitted with cushions made from Quick Dry Foam, a high-performance outdoor foam engineered to drain water efficiently and maximize airflow for rapid drying. Cushion covers are available in a range of durable textiles and are sewn in a Danish atelier.
Albini was a central figure in mid-century Italian modernism, celebrated for both furniture and architectural works. His designs, including the Margherita and Gala chairs, are held in the permanent collection of Museum of Modern Art.
