This 19th-century gold-framed mirror is a striking example of refined French craftsmanship. Framed in original gold leaf with beautifully aged silver nitrate-stained glass, it offers a luminous, timeworn elegance that only history can impart. The generously scaled silhouette (171 x 100 cm / 67.3” H x 39.4” W) makes a graceful statement whether hung above a mantel, console, or in an entryway. In good antique condition. Wear is consistent with age and use.
