Original painting by Shannon Belkin. Grand in size with a soft colour palette
Untitled, 2016 (approximate)
60″ x 48″
Vancouver-born Shannon Belkin is a graduate of Emily Carr University of Art + Design. First known for her bold and sensitive portraits, she went on to portray large-scale, sensuous, highly detailed flowers and berries at her first solo exhibition, Nature’s Prozac. Belkin then began to incorporate another passion of hers into her larger-than-life oil paintings: the cacophony of the domestic barnyard. Belkin’s background in portraiture has enabled her to capture the animals’ personalities and spirit in her signature style.
The gallery / artist price of this piece would be $10,500.
